I'd Like to Explore Strategies and Support for my Semester
Strategies & Options if you have Fallen Behind in Class
1. Reach out to your Professor
Visit office hours or email your professor about any challenges that you have; they may be able to help!
It is important, when trying to finish your semester successfully, to stay connected with your professors and either a college advisor, Bronco Advising Center advisor, and/or an Early Support team member. You're not alone in your academic journey at CPP!
The Learning Resource Center offers subject tutoring, academic skills tutoring, and a writing center.
4. Contact your Major's Department
Check your email inbox or be on the lookout for any resources your major's department might email for additional support to be successful in your course(s).
5. Find Support for Financial Hardship & Mental Health
The Care Center offers wellbeing and basic needs resources.
6. Build Motivation
Regain your “Why” through career exploration, graduate school search, post-graduation life, Handshake etc. from the Career Center
If you want to explore withdrawing from a course, reach out to your academic advisor or the Bronco Advising Center about your options and deadlines.
8. Explore Course Repetition and Grade Forgiveness
If you need to retake a course, CPP's policy on course repetition and grade forgiveness may allow you to improve your GPA upon retaking a course.
