Module 3. Communicating in Canvas
Calendar Overview
The Calendar is one of Canvas's most popular features. Canvas automatically adds events to the class calendar Links to an external site. for course tools that have dates associated with them, like Quizzes and Assignments. You can also add events that are not connected to online content, like something taking place on campus or even when your face-to-face class is meeting. A non-assignment event can include a link to a Module, Discussion, or Content Page.
All Calendar events appear on both the Calendar and in the Course Summary section at the bottom of the Syllabus page. Users can subscribe to the Canvas Calendar feed, so their course events can appear in any calendar application that accepts an iCal feed (this includes Outlook and Google Calendar).
